e-read Orthodox classics for 99-cents!

• Just hap­pened to see this on Ama­zon. This is an amaz­ing deal! “My Life in Christ” is an unpar­al­leled gem for any Ortho­dox reader, and it has been hard to get the unabridged hard­back ver­sion for under $50, since it’s out of print. (More from me on this incred­i­ble book and what’s it meant to me HERE, if that’s helpful.)

  But if you go HERE, you can down­load it to your com­puter for under a buck (and from there to your Kin­dle, Android, ipad, Black­berry etc. etc. )!

   

   

  
  And for the stout of heart, there’s THIS ONE — the entire unabridged Philokalia for 99-cents. The fly in the oint­ment is that, look­ing through the reader com­ments, appar­ently the entire text was just scanned and dumped into the file. I have found some of Amazon’s e-books are like this and the lack of for­mat­ting or any table of con­tents is maddening.

  If you’re inclined to take this elec­tronic ver­sion of the Philokalia for an e-book (like the Kin­dle), it is prob­a­bly worth you adding in the book­marks that THIS NICE REVIEWER wrote down to denote chapters.
