“Source Code” — Playing with time again, and again
-
With Holy Week upon us, this isn’t likely to be a meaningful recommendation, but all the same, I thought I’d include a trailer and a plug for “Source Code.” Best way to sum up the plot is just to watch the trailer, which does a good job.
As I said back HERE, I’m a sucker for movies that play with chronology, and Hollywood seems to offer more and more of them — everything from Groundhog Day to Inception. But this one held together a lot better than Inception and didn’t leave the stale aftertaste of plot holes, pretension and sloppy writing that Inception did.
Goodness knows, the schedule of services this week won’t leave much time to take in a movie, but if you’re a buff, you should make a mental bookmark to catch this one during Bright Week. It was a goody.
