Time stops at Grand Central Station

• Don’t you wish you could stop time some­times? I haven’t had much blog­ging time because I’ve had too much junk to do (and by ‘junk’ of course I mean work, bill-paying, and other life maintenance).

  So I’ll dive back into half-finished posts and see if I can’t bring them along. But in the mean­time, here’s a bit of fun. What hap­pens if you assem­ble 207 peo­ple together who are will­ing to just freeze for five min­utes in what­ever posi­tion they’re in, put them all in Grand Cen­tral Sta­tion, have them all freeze at the same exact moment?

  It takes a lot to slow peo­ple down in New York City. Hav­ing some peo­ple frozen in time is one way to do it apparently.

  See? Per­for­mance art actu­ally can be fun. You just have to make sure it’s not done by per­for­mance artists.
