Random cartoon thought for the day
-
This is off-topic, but Greg liked the illustration I did for a project. And when it comes to cartoons, my motto is ‘waste not, want not.’Speaking of mottoes, I’m putting together a book of folk wisdom and old adages. It was my mother-in-law’s idea, and for the most part, I’m illustrating it with retro clip art that I’m scanning in. But if I can’t find anything that’ll work, I’ve had to break out the pencils and stuff. The adage in this case was “Be as good a person as your dog thinks you are.”

Not sure I’ve ever heard that one before. But if Greg lived by that motto, I don’t even know how great he would be. She thinks he’s a superstar.

I love it!
that is really nice
I like the book idea. I’ve always heard the addage as “God help me to be the person my dog thinks I am”. And of course the Abba Xanthios quote: A dog is better than I because a dog loves and does not judge.
