So, as I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Greg went out to take pictures of the soybean fields. But he got so distracted with other objects of primary interest — cows, old tires, water towers — that he forgot his mission. Some good pics, though.
Lovely bit of natural landscaping. But I’m still trying to figure out what the tire was doing on the fence-post in the first place.
.
The cows look so dumb and placid that we kind of forget that they don’t take kindly to intruders. Luckily, they also usually are on the right side of a barbed wire fence. Just as well. Even without the horns, this Hereford cow looks a little cranky.
.
On the left side, we have a soybean field. So if you imagine acres of that, you’ll have the idea. It’s pretty, and the colors come and go in a matter of days.

Beautiful landscapes. The cacti here pretty much stay the same color all the time.
Pictures of nature on a beautiful day in September can have an inspiring impact on a person. Moreover, a person can enjoy seeing these pictures periodically for an entire lifetime.
