Ah yes. Just like riding a bicycle.

  • DeliciousFoodBright Monday — Kansas City strip steak and a salad with feta cheese. I did just a fine job with this, if I do say so myself. It was a thick steak, but by searing it and then letting it rest, it cooked to medium-well without me having to butterfly it. Added a little too much sea salt to it, but what are you going to do?

Bright Tuesday — Chicken alfredo. I had to make do with elbow macaroni rather than egg noodles, but who thought the pasta was the biggest part of this? The chicken tenders were fresh and the cheese was grated Parmesan. Oh baby.

Bright Wednesday — Well, there were some great-looking lamb chops at the butcher. So I’m thinking about cooking them with a honey-mustard sauce and another salad with feta cheese. And red wine — I use the stuff that comes from a box, but I’m really a very nice person anyway.

Just thought everyone would like to know.

PS: Been pondering the verse from I Corinthians where Paul says “All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. … Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but one day God will destroy both.” I figure it’s a typo.

PSS: Only 353 repenting days till Pascha 2006. ;-)
