NBC shocked and amazed

• OrthodoxyToday mentioned, the problem is NBC has been making a bit of a habit out of this lately:

  This is the same network last year that had a “comedic” scene in the sitcom Committed that had a character flush a Holy Communion wafer down the toilet.

  Then after their public apology they came out with The Book of Daniel.

  But anyway, they’re backing down in the face of protest by offended Christians. All well and good. But can we start the countdown before the Christians who protested by mail and phone get compared to the Muslims who protested by violence and destruction? And of course, the big moral will be that there’s absolutely no difference and so we’re … (favorite secular accusation coming up)… hypocrites to act as if we are working within the system and they’re not.
