Well, glad he decided to be a good sport about that. I know this is one of Scientology’s practices — in fact, I believe that L. Ron Hubbard calls for silence not only at birth but for the first weeks of the child’s life — but I don’t know how the women ever manage it.
I’m all for natural birth, and indeed have done it, but silence is the part that gets me. Not silence because you want to be, but because you HAVE to be.
Too bad there’s not a place on MSN that I can post a comment…
